Part of how I see my work is rawness, a certain understated feeling that is expressed where there’s a tiny of the imperfect to play with. All good stories contain it. All pearls are created from an impurity. Beauty lives there.
Maeve and Alexander came into the Pennsylvania mountains from Brooklyn to get married. The goal: whimsical and cinematic and real. Most importantly, real. I love it when my couples genuinely trust me. They get to live into their day, pressing into feeling of it all with open hearts. I get to see it all and pin it down, unencumbered by the weight of must-do shot lists. Weddings like this full my cup. I walk away feeling like I can really hand couples the feeling of their day, the emotional signature. I live for it and it gives me the greatest joy to hand it back with love.
